Papadi Pizza Bites is a quick party starter recipe made using papdi chaat puris & topped with your choice of pizza toppings. It is a fusion dish and can be served at parties or even given to kids for lunch boxes - they will just love it. You will need regular papdi chaat puris which are easily available in market and toppings along with pizza cheese. All this is cooked in oven till cheese melts! Yummy - you are good to go. INGREDIENTS:
For toppings:
2 tbsp boiled corn
2 tbsp finely chopped capsicum (bell pepper)
2 tbsp finely chopped tomatoes
2 tbsp finely chopped onion
1/8 tsp black pepper powder
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp mixed herbs
1/4 tsp chilli flakes
little salt
1 tbsp tomato ketchup or pizza sauce
2 tbsp grated pizza cheese
For Pizza:
Oil for greasing
14-15 ready made papadi chaat puris
Little chilli flakes for garnish
SERVES: Makes 14-15 papadi pizza bites

* 1 CUP = 237 ML
METHOD:
Making topping:
1. In a bowl mix boiled corn, finely chopped capsicum (bell pepper), finely chopped tomatoes, finely chopped onion, black pepper powder, oregano, mixed herbs, chilli flakes, little salt, & tomato ketchup.
2. Topping are ready.
Making Papadi Pizza:
1. Grease a baking dish with oil.
2. Spread ready made papadi in dish.
3. Put the prepared stuffing over papadi using a spoon.
4. Spread grated pizza cheese over it
5. Cook papadi pizza in oven at 200C/390F for 3-5 min till cheese melts.
6. Sprinkle little chilli flakes over it.
7. Serve papadi pizza hot.
TIPS:
1. You can easily double or reduce quantity as per requirement.
2. Use pizza cheese (mix of mozzarella & processed cheese) for best results.
3. Cook only till cheese melts as papadi are ready made.
4. You can use the regular papadi chaat puris available in market.
5. You can alter topping ingredients as per your choice. e.g. you could also use jalapenos, paneer, etc.
