Pav Bhaji is a delicious meal and sometimes we are left with extra Pav and Bhaji. With this amazing recipe you can use that Pav and Bhaji to make yourself a delicous Sandwich without getting the feeling of eating Pav Bhaji again. You can use it to make Breakfast or any meal you like. Leftover Pav Bhaji Sandwich can be prepared either using the Pav or Sliced Bread. Or even better, if you have less number of Pav use both! You will need regular Sandwich ingredients like Boiled Potatoes, Tomatoes, Onions, Capsicum and Cucumber apart from the leftover Pav Bhaji. To make it even yummy we have added Shredded Processsed Cheese here. Do try this amazing recipe the next time you are left with extra Pav Bhaji!

Ingredients:
6 Sliced Bread (preferably cut the sides)
2 Pav
4 Tbsp Leftover Bhaji (Click here for recipe of Pav Bhaji)
2 Tbsp Water
1 Onion cut in to Rings
1/2 Capsicum cut in to slices
1 Boiled Potato cut in to slices
1 Tomato cut in to slices
1 Medium Cucucmber cut in to slices
12 Tsp Butter (adjust more or less as per preference)
4 Tbsp Shredded Cheese (about 2-3 cubes of Processed Cheese)
4 Tsp Coriander Chutney
Chaat Masala for sprinkling
Serves: Makes 2 Sandwich + 2 Pav Sandwich
Preparation time: 20 min
Cooking time: 10 min
Method:
Pav Bhaji Sandwich Option 1 - (with Bread Slices)
1. Apply 1 Tsp Butter each on bottom side of 2 Sliced Bread. Spread 1 Tbsp each of Bhaji on top side of each bread slice.
2. Place 3-4 Onion rings, 4 Capsicum Slices on top of each Bread Slice.
3. Take 2 Sliced Bread and apply 1 Tsp Butter on each of them and place it over first slice (with Butter side facing down).
4. Apply 1 Tsp Coriander Chutney on top of second Slice on each Sandwich.
5. Put 1-2 Slices of Boiled Potatoes and sprinkle Chaat Masala over it.
6. Place 3-4 Slices of Tomatoes and 4-5 Slices of Cucumber and sprinkle Chaat Masala over it.
7. Spread 1 Tbsp of Shredded Cheese over each Sandwich.
8. Take 2 Sliced Bread and apply 1 Tsp Butter on each of them and place it over second slice (with Butter side facing down).
9. Grease top of each Sandwich with 1 Tsp Butter and place it in Grill Toaster for 3-4 min or till Sandwich turns golden and crispy.
10. Serve hot with Ketchup and Green Coriander Chutney.
Pav Bhaji Sandwich Option 2 - (with Pav)
1. Heat 2 Tsp Butter in a Pan.
2. Add 2 Tbsp Bhaji and 2 Tsbp Water and mix well. Cook for about 1 min.
3. Place 2 Pav Slit in to half on Pan and cook on all the sides (inside and outside) for about 30 seconds and coat them well with Bhaji.
4. Remove Pav from Pan and allow it to cool a bit.
5. Open the Pav and apply 1 Tsp Coriander Chutney on inside bottom half of each Pav.
6. Place 1-2 Slices of Boiled Potatoes on each Pav and sprinkle Chaat Masala over it.
7. Place 2 Slices of Tomatoes, 2-3 Onion Rings, 2-3 Slices of Capsicum, 4 Slices of Cucumber on each of Pav and sprinkle Chaat Masala over it.
8. Spread 1 Tbsp of Shredded Cheese over each Pav.
8. Close the Pav and grease top of each Pav with 1 Tsp Butter and place it in Grill Toaster for 3-4 min or till Pav turns golden and crispy.
10. Serve hot with Ketchup and Green Coriander Chutney.
Tip: If you prefer to make only 1 option then you can reduce the ingredients to half except leaving aside first 2 ingredients. Also if you have more Left over Bhaji you can increase the quantity of ingredients.
