Peanuts or Sing are crunchy, delicious nuts and do have have high nutritional value to it when consumed in moderation. Peanuts are rich in minerals, antioxidants, vitamins, protiens etc which are important for healthy living. Peanuts can be consumed in many varitations such as shelled, unshelled, roasted, salty, sweetened etc. Salted Peanuts or popularly known as "Khari Sing" can be easily made at home in microwave within few minutes. It is quick, simple & freshly home made.
Ingredients:
1 Cup Regular Peanuts/Sing
1 Tbsp Salt
1 Cup Water
Serving: 1 Cup Salted Peanuts
Preparation & Cooking Time: 6 mins
Resting Time: 15 mins
* 1 cup = 200 ml
Method:
1. In a microwave safe mug add 1 cup of water.
2. Add salt & peanuts to the water filled mug & stir it well.
3. Now put the mug in a microwave on high for about 2 min.
4. Now take out the mug and mix the peanuts once.
5. And then strain the water using a strainer.
6. Now take a big microwave safe plate and spread the peanuts evenly on the same without overlapping.
7. Now put the plate in a microwave on high for about 4 min.
8. Once done, take it out of the oven & allow the peanuts to rest for about 15 min.
9. And it is ready to be served.
10. It can be stored in air-tight container for 15-20 days.
