INGREDIENTS:
2 medium sized boiled & mashed potatoes
1/3 cup almond powder
1/3 cup grated paneer/cottage cheese
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
1 tbsp finely chopped mint leaves
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp cumin powder
1/4 tsp dry mango powder
1/8 tsp cardamom powder
1/8 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp ginger green chillies paste
1/8 tsp black salt/rock salt/sanchar
3 bread slices
8 pieces of processed cheese (2 cubes)
16 raisins
1 cup fresh bread crumbs (grind 4-5 bread slices)
Oil/ghee for frying/greasing
SERVES: 4 peoples (8 kebabs)
PREPARATION TIME: 15 Min
COOKING TIME: 16 Min
TOTAL TIME: 31 Min
* 1 CUP = 237 ML
METHOD:
1. In a big bowl take mashed potatoes, almond powder, grated paneer, chopped coriander leaves, chopped mint leaves, salt, cumin powder, mango powder, cardamom powder, black pepper powder, ginger green chillies paste, black salt.
2. Trim sides of bread slices, soak in water & remove excess water & add to bowl.
3. Mix well.
4. Using hands greased with oil/ghee divide mixture in to 8 equal portions.
5. Take one kebab & lightly flatten it & put one piece processed cheese, 2 raisins in between & then cover it & shape it in kebab shape & flatten its sides lightly by rolling it in plate.
6. Prepare all kebabs in same way.
7. Roll each kebab in fresh bread crumbs.
8. Using Kent Pizza & Omelette Maker roast kebabs without oil.
9. One kebab takes 3-4 min on each side.
10. Turn pizza maker over so that kebabs gets roasted on other side.
11. Once done take it out on plate.
12. Prepare all kebabs in same way.
13. Serve hot almond kebab with onion rings, green chutney & ketchup.
TIPS:
1. Here I have made 8 kebabs from mixture. You can make smaller or bigger kebabs!
2. To roast kebabs you can also use very little oil to shallow fry on pan/tava. Roast on both sides.
3. Pre-heat pizza maker before using.
