Eggless Chocolate Chip Cookies is a delicious bakery style cookie recipe at home without using any eggs. They taste very delicious - crunchy on outside & melt in mouth inside. With this easy recipe you too can make chocolate chip cookies for your loved ones at home. Dark chocolate chips are used in this recipe, however, you may use other varieties too. INGREDIENTS:

1/2 Cup Maida/Flour
1/4 Cup Butter at room temperature
1/2 Cup less 1 Tbsp Castor Sugar
1/4 Cup Chocolate Chips
1 Tbsp Milk at room temperature
1/4 Tsp Baking Soda
1/4 Tsp Vanilla Essence

SERVES: Makes approx 8 cookies
PREPARATION TIME: 20 mins
BAKING TIME: 12 mins
TOTAL TIME: 32 Min
* 1 CUP = 237 ML

METHOD:

1. In a bowl, mix maida & baking soda. You can sieve it too, to ensure proper mixing. 
2. In another bowl, whisk butter until smooth. You can use electric butter too. 
3. Add sugar and mix well, till it becomes light and fluffy. 
4. Add milk and vanilla essence. Mix well. 
5. Add flour mixture to butter mixture, mix with your finger tips to form dough like mixture. Mix it gently and only till the dough comes together. Do not over-mix it. 
6. Add chocolate chips and mix lightly again. 
7. Cover and refrigerate the cookie dough for half an hour. Chilling the dough helps in solidifying the liquid content which prevents excess thinning of cookies while baking. 
8. Once chilled, make 8 equal size balls and place it parchment paper lined tray at 1 inch distance. Or bake it in two batches, so cookies have enough place to spread while it bake. Flatten the balls lightly with your finger tips. 
9. Bake at 180 C or 350 F in preheated oven for 10 -12 mins or till the edges become light golden brown in color. 
10. Remove from the oven and let it sit in baking tray for 5 mins and then shift the cookies either to cooling rack or plate. 
11. Let it come to room temperature completely. Store it in airtight container for 7-8 days.
