In this recipe you can make instant falooda mix which is usually available in the market in nice packets. You can quickly make this instant mix & use it with milk & prepare falooda whenever you want. INGREDIENTS:
Rose Falooda Instant Mix:
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 tbsp corn flour
3/4 tsp rose emulsion
1 tsp sabja seeds/basil seeds/tukmaria
1 tbsp pieces of cashew nuts
1/4 cup vermicelli (plain & not roasted)
Rose Falooda:
500ml full fat milk
100ml water
Rose falooda mix 70g
6 tbsp water melon pieces
3 scoop vanilla ice cream
Pieces of cashew nuts & pistachios for garnish
Dried rose petals for decoration
SERVES: Makes 70g Rose Falooda Mix / 3 glasses of Rose Falooda

TOTAL TIME: 3 min
Rose Falooda:
PREPARATION TIME: 5 min
COOKING TIME: 12 min
OTHER TIME: 4 h (refrigeration time)
TOTAL TIME: 4 h 17 min
* 1 CUP = 237 ML
METHOD:
Rose Falooda Mix:
1. Grind sugar, corn flour & rose emulsion in mixer grinder for 2-3 sec to coarse mixture.
2. Mix with spoon.
3. To assemble rose falooda mix first of all we layer powder of sugar, corn flour & rose emulsion, then add sabja seeds/basil seeds/tukmaria over it, then cashew nuts & lastly layer vermicelli over it. 4. Cover with lid & instant rose falooda mix is ready! Store it in refrigerator for 1 month or in freezer for 2-3 months.
Rose Falooda Mix:
1. Heat full fat milk with water in a pan to boil.
2. Lower flame & pour the rose falooda mix in to it.
3. Stirring constantly allow milk to come to boil again.
4. Lower flame & cook for 8-10 min.
5. Switch off flame & mix.
6. Transfer rose falooda to a bowl & allow it to come to room temperature & then put it in refrigerator to chill for 3-4 hours.
7. To serve rose falooda put 2 tbsp water melon pieces per glass - you can also put raspberry or strawberry jelly.
8. Pour rose falooda over it.
9. Put 1 scoop vanilla ice cream over it in each glass.
10. Garnish with pieces of cashew nuts & pistachios & decorate with dried rose petals.
11. Rose falooda is ready!
TIPS:
1. Putting corn flour in mixer grinder ensures it mixes well with sugar.
2. If you want less colour you can use 1/2 tsp rose emulsion. You can also use rose essence & rose pink food colour in place of rose emulsion. Take half quantities of each for the same.
3. You can also add other dry fruits like almonds & pistachios apart from cashew nuts.
4. Use vermicelli available in small pieces - it should plain vermicelli & not roasted.
5. If take toned milk use 600ml milk & skip water.
