Easy ice cream recipe is wonderful recipe where you can make creamy ice cream at home without cooking or using any ice cream maker or GMS & CMC powder. You will need non dairy whipping cream, fresh cream & condensed milk for this recipe. Three different flavours ice cream are ready from one base. INGREDIENTS:
Ice cream base:
1 cup non dairy whipping cream
1 cup full fat cream
200 g condensed milk
Paan Ice Cream:
2 Kolkata betel leaves
1 ½ tbsp mouth freshner (any variety)
1 tbsp gulkand (rose petal jam)
5-6 drops of green food colour
Butterscotch Ice Cream:
2 tbsp butterscotch nuts
7-8 drops yellow food colour
4-5 drops butterscotch essence
Cookies & Cream (Oreo) Ice Cream:
5 chocolate flavour Oreo Biscuits
SERVES: Makes about 250g each of Butterscotch, Paan & Cookies & Cream Recipe
PREPARATION TIME: 15 min
OTHER TIME: 8 h (freezing time)
TOTAL TIME: 8 h 15 min
* 1 CUP = 237 ML
METHOD:
Ice cream base:
1. Whip non dairy whipping cream for 4-5 min on med speed till soft peaks appear.
2. Add full fat cream & condensed milk. Beat again for 3-4 min till it becomes fluffy & double in volume.
3. Divide it into 3 equal portions. Keep aside.
Paan Ice Cream:
1. Cut Kolkata betel leaves into smaller pieces & grind with mouth freshner & gulkand (rose petal jam) to fine mixture.
2. If required use 1 tsp water while grinding.
3. Put this mixture in one portion of ice cream base.
4. Add green food colour & mix well with hand whisker.
5. Transfer paan ice cream to plastic container.
6. Tap to level it & close the lid & put it freezer for 8 hours to set.
7. Scoop ice cream & serve.
Butterscotch Ice Cream:
1. Grind butterscotch nuts to coarse powder in mixer grinder.
2. Add yellow food colour & butterscotch essence in one part of ice cream base.
3. Mix.
4. Add crushed butterscotch nuts & mix.
5. Transfer butterscotch ice cream to air tight container.
6. Tap to level it & close the lid & put it freezer for 8 hours to set.
7. Scoop ice cream & serve.
Cookies & Cream (Oreo) Ice Cream:
1. Grind Oreo Biscuits to fine powder in mixer grinder.
2. Put it in final portion of ice cream base & mix well.
3. Transfer Oreo ice cream to air tight container.
4. Tap to level it & close the lid & put it freezer for 8 hours to set.
5. Scoop ice cream & serve.
TIPS:
1. I have used Amul Fresh Cream.
2. Use any variety mouth freshner for paan ice cream - you can also take plain saunf (fennel seeds).
3. You can also make any one ice cream from the base. In such case use ingredients 3 times of either ice cream recipe.
