It is great option if you want to skip the regular snacks made with potatoes and bread. It is a great starch free healthy snack which can be air fried instead of deep frying. This recipe is perfect for those who avoids eating potatoes or even for when you are fasting!

INGREDIENTS:
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp chaat masala powder
1/2 tsp salt or to taste
500g raw bananas
oil for frying
SERVES: Makes approx 600g Banana Fries
PREPARATION TIME: 10 min
COOKING TIME: 10 min
TOTAL TIME:20 min
* 1 CUP = 237 ML
METHOD:
- In a bowl, mix red chilli powder, chaat masala and salt. Keep this spice mix aside.
- Peel raw bananas using a potato peeler.
- Cut the bananas into 3 or 4 equal part.
- Slice each part from the middle and cut into 3 to 4 pieces lengthwise like french fries.
- Heat oil for deep frying. Alternatively, these fries can be air fried too.
- Once hot, reduce the flame to medium and add the banana fries to the oil.
- Keep the flame medium to high and fry till golden and crispy for about 3-4 mins.
- Remove on paper napkin.
- While hot, sprinkle the spice mix generously as desired on the banana french fries.
- Serve hot with ketchup!
